Cadiz, 7B: Experiment of Winogradsky´s column. Third and fourth week(17th-31th March).

Hello winobloggers:

This is my third blog about our winogradsky´s column.

In the last week, the weather is cloudy and, so, the bottle didn´t receive enough sunlight and we didn´t observe any changues.

However, in the fourth week, the temperature has increased considerably and we watched  important changues in the column. In the top of the mix, it is becoming brown.  Too, we observed the aparition of more bubbles in the surface and more orange spots in the walls of the bottle. We realised that,in the part of column, where received more sunlight, there are more changues.   We believe than these  is due to aerobic bacteria and other bacteria of the surfaces of the column, that receive more sunlight, ploriferate  faster.

Now, You can see the images which  we are taken along the week:

Part of the column, where received more sunlight in the fourth week.

Part of the column, where received less sunlight in the fourth week.
